In real life, Neha Sharma has been in the news recently for serious reasons. One of the latest updates confirms that the Enforcement Directorate questioned her about promotions linked to an online betting platform. News reports said that she was called to record her statement under the money-laundering investigation. She cooperated and answered their questions. This has put her name in political and legal discussions in 2025.

She was in news for her presence in the Bihar 2025 election campaign, where she supported her father, Ajit Sharma. She posted emotional messages saying that Bhagalpur will always be close to her heart.
