Born Ghanta Naveen Babu on 24 February 1984 in Hyderabad, Nani, fondly called the Natural Star, made his acting debut in the 2008 romantic comedy Ashta Chamma. He rose to prominence with films like Ala Modalaindi (2011), Pilla Zamindar, Eega (2012), Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Jersey (2019), Shyam Singha Roy (2021), Dasara (2023), Hi Nanna (2023), and Saripodhaa Sanivaaram (2024).

His recent success includes HIT: The Third Case (2025). Ongoing projects feature the highly anticipated action drama The Paradise (releasing September 24, 2026), directed by Srikanth Odela, where he plays Jadal opposite Kayadu Lohar, with music by Anirudh Ravichander. Next up is Bloody Romeo.
