Affectionately known as the Natural Star, Nani (born Ghanta Naveen Babu on 24 February 1984 in Hyderabad) made his acting debut in the 2008 romantic comedy Ashta Chamma. He rose to prominence with films like Ala Modalaindi (2011), Eega (2012), and Yeto Vellipoyindhi Manasu, establishing himself as one of Telugu cinema’s most versatile leading men.

His filmography includes critically and commercially successful titles such as Bhale Bhale Magadivoy, Jersey, Shyam Singha Roy, Ante Sundaraniki, Dasara (for which he won a Filmfare Award), Hi Nanna, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, and the HIT franchise. He is also a producer under Wall Poster Cinema.

Currently, Nani is promoting The Paradise (releasing 24 September 2026), a period action drama directed by Srikanth Odela in which he plays the intense tribal leader Jadal. His next project is the highly anticipated Bloody Romeo. With his natural acting style and consistent content-driven choices, Nani remains one of Tollywood’s most respected stars.
