Nandita�s journey into the world of entertainment began early. While still in school, she started her career as a VJ on Udaya Music, which laid the foundation for her acting career. She made her film debut in the 2008 Kannada movie Nanda Loves Nanditha, where her character was named Nandita, a name she later adopted as her screen name.

Her breakout performance came in the 2012 Tamil film Attakathi, directed by Pa. Ranjith, where her acting skills were well-received. She followed this with a strong role in Ethir Neechal (2013), where she portrayed an athlete. Her performances continued to win praise, with notable roles in Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara (2013) and Mundaasupatti (2014), showcasing her versatility.

Nandita continued to rise in prominence in the years that followed, starring in films like Aindhaam Thalaimurai Sidha Vaidhiya Sigamani (2014) and Uppu Karuvaadu (2015).
