Born on August 1, 1992, Mrunal began her journey on television with shows like Mujhse Kuchh Kehti... Yeh Khamoshiyaan and Kumkum Bhagya, where she won the ITA Award for Best Supporting Actress. She made her film debut in the Marathi movie Vitti Dandu (2014). Her Hindi film entry came with the intense drama Love Sonia (2018), followed by notable roles in Super 30 (2019) opposite Hrithik Roshan and Batla House (2019).

Mrunal gained pan-Indian fame with her soulful performance in the Telugu romantic drama Sita Ramam (2022) and delivered another acclaimed act in Hi Nanna (2023). She has since explored diverse roles in Pippa, Family Star, and Kalki 2898 AD.

In 2026, she kicked off the year with Do Deewane Seher Mein (February) opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi. Her bilingual action-romance Dacoit: A Love Story (April 10, 2026), co-starring Adivi Sesh and directed by Shaneil Deo, recently hit theatres, blending intense action with emotional depth. She has wrapped Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, a fun David Dhawan rom-com with Varun Dhawan and Pooja Hegde, slated for mid-2026 release. Rumoured projects include bigger pan-Indian ventures, showcasing her growing versatility across industries.
