One of them included her comment on Bipasha Basu’s “manly muscles.” Another viral clip is from an interview where she spoke about films she did not accept in her early career. In that video, she explained that she was not ready at the time. She added that rejecting some roles worked in favor of the other actresses who got them.

The Internet strongly believes she referred to Anushka Sharma. Anushka replaced her in Salman Khan’s film Sultan. Mrunal did not name Anushka directly. She only shared her thoughts on her choices. She said she would have lost herself if she had done that film at that stage.

Her remark drew more attention when she compared her current work to that of the actress. She stated, “Then she is not working at the moment, but I am, which is itself a victory.” She further said she does not want instant fame. She believes that quick success does not last long.
