She is dressed in a dazzling sculpted golden bodice with a sharply slit black skirt. Mrunal looked powerful and the golden piece with its molten-metal shine and structured shoulders gave her the aura of a modern-day queen.
As she took the runway, the entire room seemed to pause for a moment. The collection ‘Araquis’ by Pankaj & Nidhi was inspired by the idea of futuristic royalty. The designers imagined a world where power, protection, and poise come together through fashion. The runway was set against a backdrop that looked like a desert kingdom.
Speaking about the collection, the designers said that ‘Araquis’ was born from the idea of resilience. Mrunal Thakur’s finale look represented this idea perfectly.
A few days ago, Mrunal Thakur once again became the centre of online controversy when a past interview clip began trending on social media. In the video, the actress discussed her early career choices and mentioned turning down a major film that later became a huge hit. Though she never named anyone, netizens quickly assumed she was referring to Sultan, the 2016 Salman Khan film that starred Anushka Sharma.
In the viral clip, Mrunal spoke about rejecting several projects during the beginning of her career. She explained, “There were many films I said no to because I was not ready at that time. One of them turned out to be a superhit and made the actress who did it very popular. But if I had done that movie back then, I might have lost myself.”
