Mouni Roy, the popular Indian actress and television star, recently shared a striking vacation photograph that has fans swooning. Born on September 28, 1985, in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, Mouni began her career in television with Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2006). She gained massive fame as Sati in Devon Ke Dev... Mahadev and as Shivanya in the supernatural series Naagin. She made her film debut in the Punjabi movie Hero Hitler in Love (2011). Her Bollywood debut came in 2018 with the sports drama Gold opposite Akshay Kumar, earning her a Filmfare nomination for Best Female Debut. She impressed in Brahmastra: Part One – Shiva (2022) as Junoon, winning the IIFA Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Her recent releases include The Bhootnii (2025) and special appearances in Vedaa and Love Sex Aur Dhokha 2. As of April 2026, Mouni has a packed slate. She features in David Dhawan’s comedy Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai with Varun Dhawan, Madhur Bhandarkar’s drama The Wives, and a special appearance in Chiranjeevi’s Telugu epic Vishwambhara. She has also begun shooting an untitled fifth project, expanding her presence across Bollywood, South cinema, and OTT.
