Actress Mithila Palkar turned heads at the trailer launch of her upcoming horror-comedy #BhoothBangla, looking elegant in a deep brown velvet halter-neck dress with intricate silver embroidery. Styled by Shreeja Rajgopal, with makeup by Shrushti Birje and hair by Sujata HMU, the “Little Things” star exuded poise and glamour. She credited the outfit to Sheena Trehan and shared a special thanks to photographer Shivam Gupta.

Born on 12 January 1993 in Mumbai, Mithila began her career with the Marathi short film Majha Honeymoon (2014). She made her Hindi film debut with a small role in Katti Batti (2015) and gained popularity with the web series Little Things (2016) on Netflix, which earned her a massive fan following. Her breakthrough in Marathi cinema came with Muramba (2017), winning her the Filmfare Marathi Award for Best Female Debut.

She has delivered notable performances in Karwaan (2018), Panga (2020), Qala (2022), and Girl’s Hostel. In 2025, she appeared in the surreal love story Sweet Dreams.

As of April 2026, Mithila has two major releases lined up. She stars as Roopa in her first full-fledged comedy Happy Patel: Khatarnak Jasoos (directed by Vir Das, releasing January 16, 2026). She also plays Akshay Kumar’s sister in Priyadarshan’s much-awaited horror-comedy Bhooth Bangla, which features an ensemble cast including Tabu, Paresh Rawal, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Paid previews begin on April 16, 2026.

Mithila continues to balance digital content, films, and her signature relatable charm.
