Meera Chopra is also known by the name Nila in Tamil films. She started her acting journey in 2005 and has remained active in the industry since then. She made her Tamil debut with the film Anbe Aaruyire, where she acted opposite S. J. Surya. She later appeared in the Telugu film Bangaram alongside Pawan Kalyan. Her performance in Vaana received appreciation and helped her gain recognition. In Bollywood, she made her debut with 1920 London: Fear Strikes Again, sharing the screen with Sharman Joshi. Over the years, she has taken on varied roles, including her performance in Section 375 where she played Anjali Dangle.

On the personal front, Meera Chopra married businessman Rakshit Kejriwal on March 12, 2024, in Jaipur. The wedding was a private and traditional affair.
