Born on March 5, 1997, in Panchkula, Haryana, into a disciplined military family (her late father was Colonel B.R. Chaudhary), Meenakshi holds a Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. She first gained attention as a beauty pageant titleholder — 1st runner-up at Femina Miss India 2018 and Miss Grand India, representing the country at Miss Grand International.

She began her acting journey with the Hindi web series Out of Love (2019). Her film debut came with the Hindi movie Upstarts (2019), but she made her lead debut in Telugu cinema with the hit Ichata Vahanamulu Niluparadu (2021). She rose rapidly with roles in Khiladi (2022), HIT: The Second Case (2022), Guntur Kaaram (2024), Singapore Saloon (2024), The Greatest of All Time (2024) opposite Thalapathy Vijay, Lucky Baskhar (2024) opposite Dulquer Salmaan, and Sankranthiki Vasthunam (2025).

In 2026, she featured in the comedy entertainer Anaganaga Oka Raju with Naveen Polishetty as Charulatha “Charu”. Her slate includes Vrushakarma (also known as the untitled Karthik Varma Dandu project) opposite Naga Chaitanya, and she is set to make her Bollywood debut with Bhagam Bhag 2 alongside Akshay Kumar, with shooting commencing in 2026. Rumors also link her to Force 3 and other pan-Indian projects.
