Medha Shankr began her acting journey with the British miniseries Beecham House (2019). She made her Hindi film debut in 2021 with the teen musical Shaadisthan. Her breakthrough came in 2023 with Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s critically acclaimed 12th Fail, where she delivered a powerful performance as Shraddha Joshi opposite Vikrant Massey, winning widespread praise and the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut.

Following her success, Medha has quickly expanded her portfolio. She starred in the romantic comedy Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 (2026) alongside Avinash Tiwary. Her other notable and upcoming projects include Maalik, Zero Se Restart, and an untitled detective comedy with Sunny Kaushal and Nimrat Kaur.
