Medha Shankr’s Inspiring Journey – Debut, Hits & Upcoming Films

Medha Shankr, born on August 1, 1998, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, is a promising Indian actress known for her natural performances in Hindi films. A trained Hindustani classical singer with a Master’s in Fashion Management from NIFT Delhi, she hails from an academically inclined family but followed her passion for acting.

She made her acting debut in the British miniseries Beecham House (2019) as Roshanara. Her Hindi film debut came with the teen musical Shaadisthan (2021), where she played Arshi Modi. She also appeared in the web series Dil Bekaraar (2021) and the film Max, Min and Meowzaki (2022).

Breakthrough and Career: Medha achieved massive success with her role as Shraddha Joshi in Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s biographical drama 12th Fail (2023), opposite Vikrant Massey. Her heartfelt performance earned her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut and widespread acclaim.
