Elegant Medha Shankr Dazzles in Red

Born on August 1, 1997, in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, Medha Shankr is a trained Hindustani classical singer with a master’s degree in Fashion Management from NIFT Delhi. She made her acting debut in the British miniseries Beecham House (2019) as Roshanara. Her Hindi film debut came with Shaadisthan (2021) as Arshi Modi, followed by roles in Dil Bekaraar (2021) and Max, Min and Meowzaki (2022).

She achieved massive breakthrough success with her heartfelt performance as Shraddha Joshi in the biographical drama 12th Fail (2023) opposite Vikrant Massey. The film was a critical and commercial hit, earning her the Zee Cine Award for Best Female Debut. She also lent her voice to the song “Bolo Na.”

Medha continues to rise with upcoming projects including the much-awaited romantic comedy Ginny Wedss Sunny 2 (2026) as Ginny Goenka opposite Avinash Tiwary, and an untitled detective comedy (completed). Her natural acting style and versatility position her as one of Bollywood’s promising young talents.
