Maragadha Mani 2 Begins with Grand Pooja! Fantasy Comedy Blockbuster Returns!

After the runaway success of Maragadha Mani (2017), which charmed audiences with its unique blend of fantasy, comedy, and magical storytelling, the highly anticipated sequel Maragadha Mani 2 has officially gone on floors.

The film’s production kicked off on the auspicious occasion of Shivaratri, February 16, 2026, in Chennai, marked by a traditional pooja ceremony. Actor Karthi rang in the start of filming by sounding the clapboard, while actor Arya and director Venkat Prabhu called out “Camera Rolling, Action,” adding festive energy to the launch. Prominent filmmakers from Axess Film Factory were present to celebrate the momentous start.

Produced by Sudhan Sundaram, Manish Singhal, Durgaram Choudhary, Dev & KV Durai, under the banners of Passion Studios, Dangal TV, RDC Media, Axess Film Factory, and Good Show, the film is helmed by ARK Saravan, who also directed the original hit Maragadha Mani.

The sequel features an ensemble cast including Aadhi, Sathyaraj, Priya Bhavani Shankar, Nikkii Galrani Pinisetty, Munishkanth, Anandaraj, Danie, Arunraja Kamaraj, and Muruganandam in pivotal roles, promising strong performances across the board.

The technical lineup includes Dhibu Ninan Thomas (Music), PV Shankar (Cinematography), NK Rahul (Art), Thirumalai Rajan R (Editing), Rajesh Kannan (Dialogues), and PC Stunts (Action), ensuring a high-quality cinematic experience.
