Manasa Varanasi Lets Her Smile Do the Talking in New Pics

Manasa Varanasi is slowly becoming a familiar name in the Telugu film industry. The former Miss India has shown that beauty and brains can truly go hand in hand.

In the Instagram photo shared, Manasa is seen standing in soft sunlight, wearing a simple floral dress. Her caption, “Currently.”

Manasa was born in Hyderabad but spent part of her childhood in Malaysia due to her father’s job. She completed her schooling at Global Indian International School and later returned to India for higher studies. She pursued computer science engineering at Vasavi College of Engineering in Hyderabad. After graduation, she worked as a financial information exchange analyst at FactSet, a well-known corporate firm.

Her life took a major turn when she won the Femina Miss India 2020 crown. Representing India at Miss World 2021 in Puerto Rico, Manasa reached the Top 13, earning praise for her intelligence and grace on an international platform. Even after such achievements, she remained grounded and thoughtful about her future.

Choosing cinema was not an easy decision for her. Coming from a middle-class family, Manasa openly shared that her parents were initially worried. Like many families, they feared the uncertainty of the film industry. However, Manasa followed her passion, attended auditions, listened to scripts carefully, and slowly built confidence in her choices.

She made her acting debut in the Telugu film Devaki Nandana Vasudeva in 2024. The movie introduced her as a performer rather than just a beauty queen. Her second film, Couple Friendly, directed by Ashwin Chandrasekar, brought her real recognition. Starring opposite Santosh Sobhan, Manasa played a role that demanded emotional depth and maturity.
