Born on June 22, 2001, in Kidangoor, Kerala, Mamitha made her acting debut in 2017 with the Malayalam film Sarvopari Palakkaran. She appeared in supporting roles in movies like Operation Java, Kho Kho (for which she won the Kerala Film Critics Award), Super Sharanya, and Varathan. Her breakthrough came in 2024 with the blockbuster romantic comedy Premalu, where she played Reenu opposite Naslen Gafoor. The film became one of the highest-grossing Malayalam movies ever and catapulted her to stardom.

She made her Tamil debut with Rebel (2024) and has expanded into Tamil cinema with films like Dude (2025), Kara, Jana Nayagan, Irandu Vaanam, and others. With Premalu 2 also in the pipeline, Mamitha continues to shine as one of South Indian cinema’s most promising young talents.
