Mamitha Baiju, born 22 June 2001 in Kerala, began as a child artist in an uncredited role in Paavada (2016). She made her official debut in Sarvopari Palakkaran (2017) and steadily built her craft through films like Varathan, Operation Java, and Kho Kho (2021), earning the Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Supporting Actress.

Her breakthrough came with the 2024 romantic comedy Premalu, where her role as Reenu turned her into a household name and helped the film become one of Malayalam cinema’s biggest hits. She entered Tamil cinema with Rebel (2024) and scored another success in Dude (2025).

In 2026 she featured in major commercial hits including Jana Nayagan, Vishwanath & Sons, Kara, and Bethlehem Kudumba Unit. Upcoming projects include Irandu Vaanam (releasing 23 October 2026) and Hello Dear, marking her continued rise as a leading pan-South Indian star.
