Malavika Mohanan Finds Her Vibe Moment

Actress Malavika Mohanan is in the spotlight after sharing a striking picture on her Instagram profile Malavika Mohanan. Along with the photo, she wrote a short caption, “That’s the vibe.” She also tagged Prabhas and The Raja Saab hash tags as actress is soon to be seen in the filmm The picture quickly caught attention online and became a talking point among fans. Standing by the sea with a historic stone structure in the background, Malavika looks full of energy ahead of her film release.

Beyond the picture, Malavika is currently in the news for her upcoming Telugu film The Raja Saab, where she stars opposite Prabhas. The film is set to release in theatres on January 9, during the Sankranti festival season. Ahead of the release, Malavika spoke openly about her journey to this film and how life led her here in an unexpected way.

Malavika revealed that she was once very close to being part of Salaar. After the release of her film Master, she received a call asking her to meet director Prashanth Neel, who was working on a project with Prabhas. She travelled to Bengaluru for the meeting, where the director personally took a few pictures of her. It was not a planned shoot, but a simple interaction to understand how she looked in both Indian and western styles. The meeting felt natural, and Malavika returned feeling hopeful.

However, things did not move forward. For reasons beyond her control, the opportunity slipped away. Malavika admitted she felt disappointed, especially because working with Prabhas is a rare chance for any actor. For some time, she believed that door had closed completely.

Then, months later, she received another unexpected call. This time, it was again for a Prabhas film. At first, she assumed it was about Salaar, but she was told it was for a different project. That project turned out to be The Raja Saab. Looking back, Malavika now believes everything happened for a reason. She feels that destiny had planned her Telugu debut to happen this way.

At the pre-release event of The Raja Saab, Malavika spoke from the heart. Standing on stage, she addressed Prabhas with warmth and respect. She playfully called him different names loved by fans and finally referred to him as Raja Saab for herself. She also thanked him sincerely, calling him one of the sweetest people she has ever worked with. Prabhas responded kindly, praising her appearance and presence.
