In the caption, Malavika Mohanan wrote that she walked for Lakme Fashion Week for label anurag gupta a couple of nights ago. She said that the experience reminded her again why she truly loves walking on the ramp. According to her, actors are used to getting into different roles and dressing up as characters, but walking in front of a live audience feels very different. She described it as exciting, emotional, and full of energy. She even mentioned that it gives her a “butterflies in the stomach” feeling, which shows how special the moment was for her.
She also thanked her entire team for helping her create this look. Malavika Mohanan shared that she always believes a person is only as good as their team. She gave special mentions to gabrielgeorgiou, saying she completely trusts his styling and would confidently walk even without seeing the final look. She also appreciated meghnabutanihairandmakeup for making her feel more confident every time with amazing makeup. She thanked manishamelwani for putting together such a cool style.
Apart from fashion, Malavika Mohanan is also making strong progress in her acting career. In a recent interview, she spoke about how Indian cinema is changing. She said that today, films are not limited by language or region. Good stories are reaching audiences everywhere. She believes that cinema has become truly “borderless” now.
Malavika has already worked with some of the biggest stars in the industry, including Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Rajinikanth, and Vijay. She is also working on new Tamil projects, including a film with Vijay Sethupathi. These opportunities have helped her learn and grow as an actor.
She also spoke about success and failure in films. Malavika said that not every movie will be a hit, and that is part of the journey. What matters most is learning and improving with every project. She enjoys observing people on set and understanding how films are made. She compared this habit to her love for photography, where she learns by watching and capturing real moments.
