She gained wider recognition with her role in Majid Majidi’s Hindi film Beyond the Clouds (2017) and went on to star in major projects like Petta (2019) opposite Rajinikanth, Master (2021) with Vijay, and Thangalaan (2024).

Her recent performance in Hridayapoorvam (2025) opposite Mohanlal received strong appreciation. Malavika is set to make her Telugu debut with The RajaSaab opposite Prabhas and has Sardar 2 in her pipeline.
