Malavika Mohanan, born on August 4, 1993, in Kannur, Kerala, is the daughter of renowned cinematographer K. U. Mohanan. She made her acting debut in 2013 with the Malayalam film Pattam Pole opposite Dulquer Salmaan. She gained critical acclaim for her Hindi debut in Majid Majidi’s Beyond the Clouds (2017).

Her career took off with notable roles in Petta (2019) with Rajinikanth, Master (2021) with Vijay, Thangalaan (2024) with Vikram, and Yudhra (2024). In 2025, she impressed audiences in the Malayalam hit Hridayapoorvam opposite Mohanlal.

She is currently making waves with her Telugu debut in the big-budget horror-comedy The Raja Saab (2026) opposite Prabhas, alongside Sardar 2 with Karthi and Pocket Novel with Vijay Sethupathi.
