Malavika handled the criticism with grace saying that people should not make assumptions about characters or stories without understanding the film’s theme. She reminded everyone that Hridayapoorvam is not a regular romantic film and that audiences should wait before forming opinions.

On the professional side, Malavika is entering a very exciting phase in her career. She is making her Telugu debut with the film The Raja Saab where she stars opposite superstar Prabhas. She described this role as a “milestone” and said she accepted the project because it offered her something meaningful.
