Born on 4 August 1993 in Kerala, Malavika is the daughter of renowned cinematographer K.U. Mohanan. She made her acting debut in the Malayalam film Pattam Pole (2013) opposite Dulquer Salmaan. Her breakthrough came with the critically acclaimed Hindi film Beyond the Clouds (2017), directed by Majid Majidi. She gained popularity in Tamil cinema with roles in Petta (2019) opposite Rajinikanth and Master (2021) alongside Vijay.

Her recent performances include the historical action fantasy Thangalaan (2024) with Vikram, the Hindi action thriller Yudhra (2024) opposite Siddhant Chaturvedi, and the heartwarming Malayalam drama Hridayapoorvam (2025) with Mohanlal, where she earned praise for her nuanced role as a Mumbai-based architect.

In 2026, Malavika is making waves with her Telugu debut The Raja Saab (January 9, 2026) opposite Prabhas in a horror-comedy. She also has the high-octane Tamil sequel Sardar 2 with Karthi and the intriguing Pocket Novel directed by Thiagarajan Kumararaja lined up. Balancing intense action, emotional dramas, and pan-Indian projects, Malavika continues to prove her versatility across languages. Her glowing photo collection perfectly mirrors her rising stardom and timeless charm in Indian cinema.
