Krithi Shetty began her career at a very young age. She made her debut in a lead role at the age of 17 with the Telugu film Uppena. The film was directed by Buchi Babu Sana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers and Sukumar Writings. Uppena was a major commercial success and collected over ₹100 crore at the box office. The Times of India’s Neeshitha Nyayapati praised her performance and noted that she carried her role with depth along with co-star Vaisshnav Tej.

She later acted in Shyam Singha Roy opposite Nani. The film received mixed to positive reviews and went on to gross over ₹60 crore. She next appeared in Bangarraju with Naga Chaitanya. The film emerged as a success and earned more than ₹66 crore. However, she faced setbacks with later films. The Warriorr, directed by N. Lingusamy, received negative reviews and failed commercially. The same fate followed with Macherla Niyojakavargam, directed by M. S. Rajashekhar Reddy.

Most recently, Krithi Shetty appeared in Ajayante Randam Moshanam (A.R.M). This Malayalam action-adventure film marked her debut in Malayalam cinema. The film, directed by Jithin Laal, featured Tovino Thomas in triple roles along with Krithi in a key role. This project added another milestone to her career and expanded her presence across South Indian cinema.
