Kavya Thapar made her acting debut in the Telugu romantic drama Ee Maaya Peremito (2018) as Sheetal Jain. She followed it with her Tamil debut in Market Raja MBBS (2019) and later appeared in Ek Mini Katha (2021). Her Hindi debut came with Middle Class Love (2022), while Pichaikkaran 2 (2023) marked a notable Tamil role.

In 2024 she featured in several Telugu films including Eagle, Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, Double iSmart, and Viswam. She has also appeared in web series such as Farzi and CAT.

Ongoing projects include the Telugu film Nenu Ready (2026). Kavya continues to build a versatile career across Telugu, Tamil, and Hindi cinema with a growing on-screen presence.
