Born on July 20, 1998, in Kothagudem (now Telangana), Kavya began as a child artist in Telugu cinema with Snehamante Idera (2001), followed by roles in hits like Gangotri (2003), Tagore (2003), Adavi Ramudu (2004), Vijayendra Varma (2004), Balu ABCDEFG (2005), Bunny (2005), Subhash Chandra Bose (2005), and Pandurangadu (2008).
After a break, she made her lead debut as an adult with the horror film Masooda (2022). She gained acclaim for her role in the critically praised family drama Balagam (2023) and appeared in Ustaad (2023).
Currently, Kavya has promising ongoing projects, including the upcoming Telugu film What's Up Naresh (2026), where she plays Sarika—announced and in development. Her transition from child prodigy to leading lady continues to impress in Telugu cinema.
