Kalyani Priyadarshan's Black Saree Look Is Pure Elegance

In a shimmering black sequined saree with a sheer net border and square neckline, Kalyani Priyadarshan strikes a graceful pose, soft waves cascading over her shoulder. She shared the look with the simple caption: “wedding guest fits, thus far .”

Born on 5 April 1993 to filmmaker Priyadarshan and actress Lissy, Kalyani began behind the camera as an assistant production designer on Krrish 3 (2013) and Iru Mugan (2016). She made her acting debut in the 2017 Telugu film Hello opposite Akhil Akkineni, winning the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut – South.

She entered Tamil cinema with Hero (2019) and Malayalam with Varane Avashyamund (2020). Notable successes followed, including Maanaadu (2021), Hridayam, Bro Daddy and Thallumaala (all 2022), Sesham Mike-il Fathima and Antony (2023), and Varshangalkku Shesham (2024).

In 2025 she starred in the record-breaking Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra as the superheroine Chandra/Kalliyankattu Neeli, and Odum Kuthira Chaadum Kuthira. Upcoming projects include the Tamil films Genie and Marshal, and her Hindi debut in the zombie thriller Pralay opposite Ranveer Singh. A versatile performer across South Indian and now Hindi cinema, Kalyani continues to impress with both style and substance.
