Kalyani Priyadarshan Shines at The Honors Event

Actor Kalyani Priyadarshan recently shared a beautiful moment from her life on Instagram in which Kalyani is seen wearing a soft golden dress.

In her caption, Kalyani wrote that the photo was taken for The Honors, an event organized by Hollywood Reporter India. She thanked Anupama Chopra, Avarna Jain, and everyone who made the evening special. She also shared how grateful she felt to be present in a room filled with brilliance and bold energy.

While her Instagram post highlighted a stylish public appearance, Kalyani also made big news on the professional front. She officially confirmed that she is returning for Lokah Chapter 2. For months, fans had been guessing whether she would be part of the sequel. Finally, at a recent public event, Kalyani put an end to all speculation. She clearly said that she is part of the film and asked fans to wait for it.

She also revealed that the film is still being written and that the shooting is planned to begin around September 2026. Her simple confirmation brought excitement among fans, especially because Lokah Chapter 1: Chandra was a massive success. In the first film, directed by Dominic Arun, Kalyani played Chandra, also known as Neeli. Her character was shown as a powerful supernatural woman trying to exist in the modern world. The film was praised for its emotional depth, strong visuals, and rare focus on a female-led fantasy story.

The first part became a record-breaking success and crossed more than Rs 300 crore worldwide. Because of this, expectations for the second part are extremely high.

Reports suggest that Tovino Thomas will play a major role in the sequel as Michael, a mysterious character who appeared briefly in the first film. There are also strong rumours about Dulquer Salmaan returning, though there is no official confirmation yet.

Apart from Lokah 2, Kalyani Priyadarshan has other interesting projects lined up. One of them is a horror thriller titled Pralay, where she is expected to share screen space with Ranveer Singh under the direction of Jai Mehta.
