She gained massive popularity across South India with the Telugu serial Guppedantha Manasu, where her powerful portrayal of Jagati made her a household name.

Her film debut came with the Tulu film Bangarda Kural (2012) and Madipu (2017). She has appeared in several Kannada films including Super Ranga, Dia, 99, Magane Mahisha, Supplier Shankara, Nice Road, and 5D, showcasing her versatility in supporting and character roles.

Now married to director Suku Poorvaj, Jyoti is in an exciting new phase. She is stepping into lead roles with multilingual projects like the sci-fi superhero film Masterpiece (also called A Masterpiece), where she plays multiple challenging characters blending human emotion and AI, and the action-thriller Killer (or KilleR), in which she stars as the lead “Dream Girl.” She also has upcoming Kannada films like Halka Don.
