Jyoti Poorvaj Dazzles in Brown Saree

Born on February 23, 1985, in Madikeri, Karnataka, Jyoti began her career in television, gaining immense popularity with Kannada serials like Kinnari, Mooru Gantu, and Jogula (as surrogate mother Devaki). She made her mark in Telugu television with Guppedantha Manasu.

Her movie debut came in 2017 with the Tulu drama Madipu. She has since appeared in several Kannada and Telugu films including Supplier Shankara, Dia (2020), Jersey Number 10 (2023), Sitarama Kalyana, Gandhada Gudi, and 99.

Jyoti is currently generating huge buzz with her prominent role in the sci-fi action thriller Killer (also known as KillR or Killer: Dream Girl), directed by Poorvaaj, which is in post-production and slated for a 2026 release. With her versatility across television and cinema, Jyoti Poorvaj remains a respected and active name in South Indian entertainment.
