Soon after that, another unexpected post created even more confusion when Elvish Yadav shared a picture that looked like an engagement moment with Jiya. Many fans believed that the two had exchanged rings.

However, the truth behind the viral engagement-like post turned out to be very different. According to reports, the picture was not related to a real engagement at all. It was shared to promote an upcoming hosting project on JioHotstar titled Engaged: Roka Ya Dhoka Season 2.

Jiya had earlier also addressed rumours linking her to Abhishek Malhan. The two shared a close bond during Bigg Boss OTT 2, which made fans assume they were more than friends. However Jiya clearly stated multiple times that they were never in a relationship, even though there were feelings involved at one point.

The mystery man in Jiya’s earlier post also became a hot topic online. Some users on Reddit guessed that the man could be someone named Kaaran Dhanak but there has been no official confirmation from Jiya about his identity.
