Janhvi Kapoor Glows Like Chikiri in Her Latest Post

Actress Janhvi Kapoor set the internet abuzz with her latest Instagram post that perfectly blended glamour with self-confidence. In the photo, Janhvi is seen wearing a glittering golden dress that sparkles under the evening lights. Her caption read, “ur #Chikiri ❤️😘 Guys, I did my own makeup!!! Trained by Savleen Manchanda and Riviera Lynn.” The post quickly went viral, earning thousands of likes including one from Upasana Kamineni Konidela and left her fans calling her the real “Chikiri.”

The word Chikiri has become a trending term ever since the release of the song Chikiri Chikiri from Ram Charan’s upcoming movie Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana with music by A.R. Rahman. Janhvi, who stars opposite Ram Charan in the film, used the term playfully to describe herself, delighting fans who are eagerly waiting for the film’s release. The song has already turned into a worldwide hit, trending in 13 countries including India, the UK, and the U.S., making it one of the most popular Telugu songs of the year.

Recently, Janhvi also spoke about her experiences in Bollywood during an interview on Two Much With Twinkle and Kajol. She shared how she often has to navigate male egos in the industry. The actress said, “Sometimes I pretend to be less capable or act like I don’t understand things just to avoid offending people. You have to pick your battles and know when to speak up.” She added that although she comes from a privileged background, she still faces moments where diplomacy becomes necessary.
