Indian actress Janhvi Kapoor once again became the center of attention after a striking fashion post shared by Vogue India on Instagram. In the picture, Janhvi is seen wearing an elegant pearl-embellished outfit that highlights modern Indian couture.

According to Vogue India’s caption, pearls are no longer just accessories. Designers are now using them in dramatic ways across outfits. While the fashion post received love for its visual appeal, Janhvi Kapoor was also in the news for an entirely different reason. A recent controversy erupted after a YouTube video thumbnail used her before-and-after images. The thumbnail was part of a video uploaded by Dhruv Rathee, where he discussed fake beauty standards and cosmetic procedures. Many social media users misunderstood the intent and assumed the video targeted Janhvi personally.

The situation became more heated when a viral post claimed that the video was made as a response to Janhvi Kapoor’s social media post supporting Bangladeshi Hindus. This claim spread rapidly, leading to backlash against Dhruv Rathee. Several people reacted without checking facts or watching the video fully.

Dhruv Rathee later released a clarification video addressing the issue directly. He questioned why people were believing viral claims without using logic. He explained that the timing itself proved the accusation wrong, as producing a long video within minutes of Janhvi’s post was not realistically possible. He also stated clearly that he had himself spoken earlier about Bangladeshi Hindus, making the accusation even more illogical.

Rathee further clarified that the video was strictly about plastic surgery and its social impact. He said Janhvi Kapoor was not questioned or criticized in the video. According to him, her image was used only because she is among the few actors who have openly spoken about cosmetic procedures. He also stated that he does not believe in indirect criticism and speaks openly when he disagrees with something.
