Her real name is Aleena Shaji. Born on February 25, 2000, she changed her name to Ivana. She mainly acts in Malayalam and Tamil films and has won the audience's admiration. She gained unexpected popularity with the film Love Today starring Pradeep Ranganathan. This film was also released in Telugu on November 25, 2022, which brought her closer to Telugu audiences. Although she first entered Telugu cinema in 2018 with the Tamil dubbed film Jhansi, it was not widely known. However, Love Today made her an overnight star.

She impressed the audience with the film LGM and then entered Telugu cinema directly with the film Single, produced by Geetha Arts and directed by Karthik Raju, starring Sri Vishnu. During the press meet at the film’s release, she expressed her happiness about being introduced to Telugu audiences through a reputed banner like Geetha Arts. She also talked about the Telugu language, saying, “Telugu is a very beautiful language. I tried to learn Telugu for this film. Sri Vishnu also helped me a lot.”

Ivana mentioned that her goal is to play roles that relate to real life. She is currently pursuing her PG studies while simultaneously acting in films. She also stated that she continues to receive consecutive opportunities in both Telugu and Tamil cinema.
