This elegant portrait captures Huma Qureshi in a sophisticated black off-shoulder Brandon Maxwell gown, accented by Amrapali earrings and Manolo Blahnik shoes, her warm smile lighting up against rich wooden panels. Photographed by Tejas Nerurkar with hair by Flavien Heldt and makeup by Maniasha, the image radiates confidence and glamour from her recent Chennai appearance.

In a heartfelt message, she thanked the city: “Chennai, thank you for all the love you’ve showered on us. Your energy, your warmth and the way you welcomed Toxic and Elizabeth will stay with me for a long, long time. So grateful to have experienced this madness with you.”

Huma made her powerful film debut in Anurag Kashyap’s Gangs of Wasseypur (2012), earning widespread acclaim. She followed with notable roles in Dedh Ishqiya, Badlapur, Jolly LLB 2, Kaala, Hollywood’s Army of the Dead, Monica O My Darling, and Tarla, while leading the acclaimed web series Maharani as Rani Bharti.

Recently, she starred as a deaf-mute assassin and produced Baby Do Die Do (2026). She now plays the enigmatic Elizabeth in the big-budget Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups (releasing August 26, 2026) opposite Yash. Upcoming work includes Maharani Season 5 and other selective projects, continuing her versatile, boundary-pushing career.
