Fatima Sana Shaikh With Vijay Varma Shares Emotional Note

Along with this picture, Fatima wrote a heartfelt caption that speaks about a small mistake being forgiven and asked people to watch the film on the big screen. She also reminded everyone that only one day was left for the film Gustaakh Ishq to release in theatres on 28th November and mentioned designer Manish Malhotra in her caption.

This post created excitement among movie lovers as Gustaakh Ishq is one of the most awaited romantic films of the season. It also marks the first on-screen pairing of Fatima Sana Shaikh and Vijay Varma. In a recent interaction , Vijay spoke openly about working with Fatima and their off-screen bond. He explained that their friendship grew very naturally during the shooting. They connected quickly and found that they shared the same sense of humour. Their conversations, jokes, and easy laughter helped build comfort on set.

However, Vijay also revealed that their closeness sometimes became a problem. He said their strong friendship made scenes easy but did not always match the emotional distance required by the script. The characters were meant to be reserved and express emotions in a subtle way, but their natural comfort made the mood too casual. Because of this, director Vibhu Puri had to step in and ask them to reduce their fun moments so that the characters could feel more authentic and true to the story.
