Fatima Sana Shaikh shared a new photo on Instagram in which she looked graceful in a dark navy blue saree. Her hair was neatly tied back in a ponytail as she wore a shining necklace and matching earrings.

Fatima captioned her post with, “Sahiba 🎵 My new favourite gaana ❤️”. She also added music to the post. The track playing in the background was Sahiba by Aditya Rikhari.

Meanwhile, the winners of the 71st National Awards were announced recently. Meghna Gulzar’s Sam Bahadur won three major awards. These included Best Feature Film on National, Social and Environmental Values, Best Makeup, and Best Costume Design. Fatima Sana Shaikh, who acted as Indira Gandhi in the film, responded to the win. She said, “Huge congratulations to the team of Sam Bahadur for bagging three incredible National Film Awards. It’s truly a moment of honour. I truly feel privileged to have played the role of Smt. Indira Gandhi, and I am eternally grateful to be a part of this journey.”

Fatima expressed deep gratitude for the film’s success. She said, “No feeling matches the one of seeing your work getting honoured with National recognition, and there couldn’t be a bigger validation as an actor. I’d love to dedicate these honours to our country’s bravehearts. It’s a reminder that their contributions and sacrifices haven’t gone in vain. They will be remembered forever.” Sam Bahadur, directed by Meghna Gulzar, tells the story of Sam Manekshaw, India's first Field Marshal. Vicky Kaushal played the main role, and the cast also included Sanya Malhotra, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub, and Kalki Koechlin.
