Esther Anil Looks Radiant in Elegant Kerala Kasavu Saree

Actress Esther Anil recently shared a joyful throwback photo that perfectly captures the spirit of a memorable August. Dressed in a classic Kerala kasavu saree — off-white with a broad gold border — paired with a deep red blouse and traditional gold jewellery, she beams with an open, happy smile. One hand rests near her chin while the other holds the saree, standing under a wooden pavilion surrounded by greenery. Photographed by @sanif_uc_gram, the image radiates festive warmth.

Born on 27 August 2001 in Wayanad, Kerala, Esther began her career as a child artist in the 2010 Malayalam film Nallavan. She rose to national fame as Anumol “Anu” George in Drishyam (2013) and its sequels, also reprising the role in the Telugu (Drushyam) and Tamil (Papanasam) remakes.

Her filmography includes Oolu, Johaar (Telugu lead), Jack N Jill, Minmini (2024), and Shanthamee Raathriyil (2025). She is currently gearing up for Drishyam 3 (2026), continuing her beloved role as Anu. A graduate who also studied in London, Esther balances acting with personal growth and remains a cherished face in South Indian cinema.
