Esha Gupta became famous during Mee Too Movement The MeToo movement began in 2018. Many women came forward in the film industry. They spoke about facing sexual harassment. They shared their experiences openly. Director Sajid Khan’s name was mentioned many times. Six to eight women accused him of misconduct. Now Esha Gupta has also shared her experience. She said Sajid Khan misbehaved with her on the set of Humshakals.

A report stated that Esha Gupta spoke to Siddharth Kanan in an interview and recalled an incident on the set of Humshakals. She said Sajid Khan’s behaviour upset her. She almost decided to leave the film. She stayed only after the producer and Sajid Khan apologised. The Jannat actress hinted that Sajid made comments she did not like. She said, “Kuch log baat karne se pehle sochte nahi hai… frustrated hote hai.”
