Deviyani Sharma’s black-themed look catches attention

Recently, Deviyani shared a stylish photo on Instagram. In the picture, she is seen standing beside a stone wall, dressed in a dark, elegant dress giving a calm and confident pose.

Deviyani Sharma is a young Indian actress who is slowly making her mark in Telugu cinema and digital entertainment. Born and brought up in Delhi, Deviyani grew up speaking Hindi and English at home. Even though she did not know Telugu in the beginning, her strong interest in films made her step out of her comfort zone and move to Hyderabad in 2019 to follow her dream of becoming an actress.

Before entering films, Deviyani was deeply involved in theatre in Delhi. She worked with different theatre groups and performed in stage plays.

Deviyani made her Tollywood debut in 2020 with the film Bhanumathi Ramakrishna, where she played a supporting role. The film was directed by Srikanth Nagothi. This project helped her learn how film sets work and gave her valuable experience. Later, in 2021, she appeared in the youthful film Romantic. The movie featured Akash Puri, Ketika Sharma, and Ramya Krishna. Her major recognition came with the OTT web series Save the Tigers. The series was created by Mahi V. Raghav and became popular among family audiences. In the series, Deviyani played the role of Rekha, a woman who is a confident family lawyer at work and an angry housewife at home. Apart from acting, Deviyani is trained in Kalaripayattu, a traditional martial art form.

When asked why she chose Tollywood, Deviyani confidently says, “Why not Tollywood?” After films like Baahubali and RRR, Telugu cinema became extremely popular in Delhi. This growing craze inspired her to begin her South Indian journey with Telugu films.
