In her recent interview , Chaithra shared that she wants her acting journey to reflect real women and genuine stories. She expressed that she hopes to play “women who truly matter at every age and in every form.” She mentioned that she is collaborating with a young filmmaker, showing her willingness to work with new minds and explore fresh styles of storytelling. Her goal is to avoid being limited to one image and to bring more depth into the characters she portrays.

The actress also addressed how she handles online trolling and harsh comments. In another conversation , she admitted that at one point, criticism affected her deeply. However, she has now learned to handle negativity with maturity. When one of her past photos received unwanted attention, she clarified that her goal is not to seek validation through her appearance but to be valued for her acting talent.

In interview earlier this year, Chaithra spoke about her upcoming Kannada film Maarnami, which is a love story set in a coastal region. She shared that her character “Deeksha” looks innocent on the outside but carries complex emotions within. She expressed that she enjoyed exploring the depth of this role, which moves away from the typical glamour image often associated with heroines. The film, now nearing release, is expected to showcase her performance in a powerful light.
