Chaithra J Achar: From Web Series to Silver Screen

Born in Bangalore, Karnataka, the actress and singer has built a strong presence in Kannada cinema while expanding into Tamil and Telugu films.

She began her professional journey with the Kannada web series Bengaluru Queens while still in college and made her feature film debut in 2019 with the action thriller Mahira as Adya. Subsequent roles in Aa Drushya, Taledanda, and Gilky showcased her range. She gained critical acclaim in 2023 with Toby (as Jenny) alongside Raj B. Shetty and Sapta Sagaradaache Ello: Side B as Surabhi with Rakshit Shetty. Her 2024 thriller Blink as Devaki further highlighted her talent.

Chaithra made her Tamil debut with 3BHK (2025) as Aishwarya and appears in My Lord (2026). Ongoing projects include the Kannada film Maarnami, Telugu debut Fauzi opposite Prabhas, Meesaya Murukku 2, Strawberry, and Laila’s Sweet Dream. Also known for playback singing, including the award-winning “Sojugada Soojumallige,” she continues to take on diverse and challenging roles across South Indian cinema.
