Karwa Chauth is one of the prominent festivals celebrated in North India. It is celebrated by married women who fast from sunrise to moonrise for the well-being of their husbands. They finish their fast by looking at the moon through a netted utensil after the moon rises and immediately looking at their respective husbands' faces. It falls on the fourth day after the full moon in the month of Karthika. Many Bollywood celebrities observe this festival and take to social media to share their pictures.
