Bhumi Pednekar lights up every frame with her striking photos that showcase her confident beauty, elegant style, and magnetic presence. Born on 18 July 1989 in Mumbai, the talented actress first worked as an assistant casting director at Yash Raj Films before stepping into the spotlight.She made her impressive Bollywood debut in 2015 with Dum Laga Ke Haisha, portraying an overweight bride opposite Ayushmann Khurrana. The role earned her the Filmfare Award for Best Female Debut and set the tone for her career of meaningful, unconventional characters.

She rose to prominence with socially relevant hits like Toilet: Ek Prem Katha (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), Bala (2019), and Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019). Critically acclaimed performances followed in Saand Ki Aankh (as sharpshooter Chandro Tomar) and Badhaai Do (2022), winning her two Filmfare Critics Awards for Best Actress. Later works include Bheed, Afwaah, Thank You for Coming, and Bhakshak (2024). Recent and ongoing projects feature the 2025 romantic comedy Mere Husband Ki Biwi, the series The Royals and Daldal, the upcoming Adhure Hum Adhure Tum with Imran Khan, and the historical epic The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj (2027), where she plays warrior queen Belawadi Mallamma. Bhumi continues to choose powerful roles that blend commercial appeal with social impact.
