Bhagyashri Borse spent a major part of her childhood abroad. Talking in an interview, the actress said, “I lived for seven years in Lagos, Nigeria, where I completed my schooling.” She described Nigeria as a “mini India,” because of its vibrant mix of cultures and communities. A passionate sports enthusiast during her school years, Bhagyashri said, “I played basketball, football, long jump, kho-kho, and more in school.” She often credits sports for building her discipline and focus. These qualities later helped in her acting career. After returning to Mumbai, she pursued a degree in business management (BMS) in Maharashtra. She also said, “At the age of 19, I started modelling on the side.”
