TV actress Ayesha Khan, known for her appearance in Bigg Boss 17, is in the middle of a social media storm few days back after she allegedly liked a post on Instagram that claimed “Indians are not welcome in Kashmir.”

The original post, made by Kashmiri writer Jalees Hyder, discussed the ongoing tensions in the region. It criticized how Kashmir is often portrayed as a tourist destination while ignoring the suffering of local people. The post called Kashmir the "most densely militarized region in the world" and accused Indian visitors of romanticizing the pain of locals.

Ayesha Khan’s simple action of liking the post triggered a major backlash. Many social media users condemned her, calling her action insensitive and unpatriotic. Some even requested TV producer Ravi Dubey to remove her from the upcoming show Dil Ko Rafu Karr Lei. A few users tagged the Mumbai Police, asking for legal action.
