Indian-American actress Avantika Vandanapu is making headlines once again. The young star recently shared a series of photos from her latest PAPER Magazine cover shoot on Instagram, and fans quickly flooded the comments with praise. The photos feature Avantika alongside her Not Suitable for Work co-stars in a creative and stylish magazine spread.

In her Instagram post, Avantika expressed her excitement about appearing on the cover of PAPER Magazine. She thanked the magazine for featuring the cast of Not Suitable for Work and called the creative team “brilliant.” She also shared that the post included behind-the-scenes moments and fun outtakes from the shoot.

The actress gave credit to everyone involved in creating the photoshoot. She mentioned photographer Caroline Tompkins, stylist Marta Del Rio, hair artists Davey Did My Hair and Dawson Hiegert, makeup artists Carolina Dali and Kyle Sheehan Makeup, groomers Ryann Carter and Colleen Dominique, nail artist Danny Blessed It, set designer Versace2001, and story editor Stephen R Daw. She also thanked the assistants and production team members who helped bring the project together.

The magazine cover promotes Hulu’s new comedy series Not Suitable for Work, which premiered in 2026. The show is created by Mindy Kaling and follows the lives of five ambitious young adults trying to balance work, relationships, and personal dreams while living in New York City’s Murray Hill neighborhood.

According to the show’s description, the story focuses on a group of twenty-somethings who are determined to succeed professionally while also searching for happiness in their personal lives. Mindy Kaling has described the series as being inspired by her own experiences when she first moved to New York as a young professional.

Avantika plays the role of Abby in the series. The cast also includes Ella Hunt, Will Angus, Jack Martin, Nicholas Duvernay, and Jay Ellis. Several well-known actors appear as recurring guest stars throughout the season.

During a recent interview, the cast spoke about their experience filming in New York City. Avantika shared a funny memory about participating in escape rooms with her co-stars during breaks from filming. She jokingly described one particular escape room experience as one of the most terrifying adventures of her life but said the cast grew very close because of those shared moments.

Born on January 25, 2005, Avantika has quickly become one of the most promising young talents in entertainment. She gained worldwide recognition for playing Karen Shetty in Mean Girls and also appeared in the horror film Tarot. Before entering Hollywood, she began her acting journey in Telugu cinema with films such as Brahmotsavam after gaining attention through Dance India Dance Lil' Masters North America.

Another major achievement in her career is becoming the youngest Indian-American performer to star in and executive produce a Disney+ series after securing the rights to the fantasy novel A Crown of Wishes.
