Avantika Mishra Brings Retro Glamour to the Pool

In a vibrant retro-inspired photo, Avantika Mishra beams with infectious energy while standing waist-deep in a sparkling pool. Born in New Delhi, the former model (who worked for brands like Puma and Femina) made her acting debut in the 2014 Telugu psychological thriller Maaya. She gained notice with the romantic comedy Meeku Meere Maaku Meme (2016) and continued in Telugu films such as Vaisakham (2017), Meeku Maathrame Cheptha (2019), and a special appearance in Bheeshma (2020).

Expanding to Tamil cinema, she starred in Enna Solla Pogirai and the thriller D Block (both 2022). Her recent lead role came in the romantic comedy Emakku Thozhil Romance (2024). She has also appeared in OTT series like Athidhi and Goli Soda Rising. With an untitled project in the works, Avantika continues building a versatile career across South Indian screens while clearly having a blast embracing her inner 80s girl.
