Born on 5 August 1996 in Hassan, Karnataka, Ashika made her acting debut in 2016 with the Kannada film Crazy Boy. She gained popularity through films like Raju Kannada Medium, Madhagaja (for which she won the SIIMA Award for Best Actress – Kannada), and Naa Saami Ranga. Her performance in O2 (2024/2025) earned her further acclaim and another Best Actress honour.

Ashika has successfully expanded into Telugu and Tamil cinema with roles in Amigos, Miss You, and Avatara Purusha. As of 2026, she continues her rising streak with several exciting projects: the Kannada film Gatha Vaibhava (quadruple role), the Telugu comedy Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi opposite Ravi Teja (releasing January 2026), the big-budget Vishwambhara with Chiranjeevi, and the Tamil action thriller Sardar 2.
